I’ve been sitting on this news for a while as I manoeuvred things into position and I figured out what I wanted — and needed — to do. It seems like a strange time to be promoting work, especially with much of the world in turmoil, and while here in New Zealand we are doing considerably better than many in other countries, there is no doubt that we are all living through a very odd period of uncertainty and upheaval.
However, I hope this will bring a little bit of excitement and happiness to my readers…

Later this year I will be releasing two brand new books!
All the Laird’s Men will be released on 22nd August 2020 and is a military-inspired creature-feature horror novella set in a futuristic, post-apocalyptic Scotland (phew!). As a special thank you to all my followers, I will be offering the ebook for free to everyone who signs up to my mailing list before the 31st July 2020.
Beach Glass and Old Bones is my second short-story collection, comprising many different tales of speculative fiction, gothic horror, and some sci-fi. It is due for release in November 2020 (exact date TBC). The title speaks of my love of searching for and collecting small curiosities gifted to the beach by the ocean.
And if that wasn’t enough, I am returning to Well Written with a new, short, online course entitled “Finding Your Wildness” which will build upon subjects covered in workshops I ran in 2019 with fellow writer and poet from Aotearoa, Stella Peg Carruthers.
While those workshops were aimed primarily at women to encourage them to find their Wild Voice, “Finding Your Wildness” will be available and accessible to all. More information and sign up details will be released very soon.
I hope you are all as excited as I am, and I can’t wait to get all of these new projects released and out into the wild. ?
